China's commercial crude-oil stocks rose by 0.2% in May compared with April levels, the state-controlled Xinhua news agency said Wednesday in its OGP energy newsletter.
Commercial diesel inventories were down 3.5% from a month earlier, while gasoline stocks were 1.86% higher and overall oil product stockpiles declined by 0.7%, it said.
China's kerosene stocks rose 8.9% from a month earlier.
The agency didn't provide volumes of either crude oil or refined products held in the country's commercial reserves.
